The New Missing Persons Issue Ireland

After the showing of the 19th July 2001 Prime Time program, on the Urlingford drugs fiasco, RTE (Irish TV) remove a corresponding article from their internet web site! Why? Was this due to Garda pressure on the Prime Time production team?

Garda tries to recover from the Prime Time program, which alleged serious incompetence and cover-ups surrounding the 1995 Urlingford drugs scandal.

The Garda propaganda machine swung into gear in the wake of the 19th July Prime Time program which seriously called into question the credibility of the Garda operations in the 1995 Urlingford drugs seizure of 13.5tones of cannabis. The Prime Time program exposed Garda incompetence in this case when almost half of the drugs got through to the pushers on the streets of Irish cities.

Former Garda Jack Doyle, who was himself involved in the covert drugs operations, gave witness on the Prime Time program to the incompetence of the Garda and called into question their very credibility in the whole matter. When former Garda Doyle expressed concerns and reservations as to the way the top Garda were handling the import of the huge amounts of drugs, he was relieved of his duties by his "superiors", who accused him of being mentally unstable and unfit to do his duties. He was drummed out of the force; ever since he has been trying to expose top Garda cover-ups in this case and he declares that he has no faith in the Garda to hold a fair and open inquiry into the whole matter.

Former Garda Jack Doyle, is a native of Kilkenny. One wonders why the lorry carrying the drugs stopped at Urlingford, which is quite close to Kilkenny! Did the Gardai from Kilkenny play an important part in the "mishandling" of this drugs fiasco?

Many questions are still unanswered in this case!

This is only the latest in a whole line of serious allegations being laid at the feet of top Irish police.

(1) In 1996 , I sent a statement to Austen Currie TD (member of the Irish parliament) , which was my personal testimony of revelations and discoveries which explains how people are abducted by an organised group in Ireland and how the investigations are covered up by powerful people . My information was dismissed as the ramblings of a fool .

(2) After the 1995 abduction of Jo Jo Dollard near Moone in Co Kildare , the family of JoJo came into possession of information and strong circumstantial evidence which pointed the finger at the son of a wealthy land owner and politician in the area of Moone , but the Garda again rubbished these allegations!

(3) The Garda Emergency Response Unit (trigger happy killers) shot dead John Carthy in Abbeylara in April 2000, and when there was a public outcry they called in their mentors the FBI, to pull themselves out of the hole they shot themselves into.

(4) The Garda fitted up pitiful drug addict Dean Lyons for the GrangeGorman murders of two mentally retarded middle aged women , when another killer , Mark Nash who murdered Karl and Catherine Doyle in 1997 , had already admitted to the GrangeGorman murders.

Since the thursday evening screening of the Prime Time expose' on the Urlingford drugs fiasco , there has been little or no coverage in the Irish tabloid or broadsheet press , except for a few small mid page articles , eg: The Examiner. On the other hand the the friends of the Garda in the press , eg: Ireland on Sunday 22 nd July printed a glowing report on the Urlingford Drug "success" in 1995 , citing the commander of the Garda National Drugs Unit , Kevin Carty ,as a hero. We have also had several programs on RTE, Irish TV ,which have highlighted the marvelous job that the Garda have been doing. An operation in brainwashing the people has begun by the press and media "backers" of the Garda which gives the impression that everything is fine and nothing is wrong; we continue as if the Prime Time program never took place! When one hears rumours of Garda corruption involving organised crime , can we now truly say that these are only rumours?
